My Tours

Climb Mount Inerie (2245m)

Normally we start around 2.30am when the weather is cooler and to ensure we can enjoy the sunrise. At the top you can see the volcano crater, the surrounding hills and other mountain peaks. Afterwards we head to a hidden hotspring to unwind those aching muscles. You need a moped to get to the start of the hike. Bring: water, a headlamp (if possible), warm clothes for the top and walking boots or tough trainers.

Hot spring tour (Keli & Nage pools)

Visit beautiful pools of natural hot springs, enjoy the contrast of tenperatures where cool rivers meet bubbling springs. The views of the surrounding villages and homesteads make for a pretty ride there. Bring: swimming costume.

Visit traditional highland villages

In the surrounding hills it is possible to visit a number of hamlets where traditional practices of home-building and culture continues. Learn about the spirituality and customs of these traditional Indonesian ways of life.

Longer treks (Belaraghi & Maghilewa)

I have previously guided guests through the highlands on longer treks to the villages (Belaraghi 5 hours and Maghilewa 6 hours), where it is possible to arrange overnight stays for those who are interested.

Getting around

For a number of these tours, a moped or motorbike is needed. These can often be hired from the homestays in town or one guest can ride on my moped with me if they need.
